It was my honor and pleasure to meet John Bruno at the 2010 National Shear Sharpening Guild Convention in Las Vegas where I was one of the featured instructors.

At that time, John approached me and inquired about training him in the more advanced methods of Japanese style shear sharpening and reconditioning.

I accepted John as a student and he did train with me. in the following years, John took additional training and continues to do so, John is a very accomplished sharpener. John’s success as a sharpener stems from his love of the art and devotion to perfecting his talent. He is a very honest and dependable businessman and a perfectionist with his work.
